Summer gets a little sweeter with frozen treats. “Nice” cream is a trendy food for a dairy free and vegan alternative to ice cream.

  • 1 Beet, cooked and cooled

  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Bar, roughly chopped

  • 2 Bananas, frozen

  • 2 Tbsp. Milk (dairy free or regular)

  • Honey (optional)


  1. The night before you want to make this, peel 2 ripe bananas and freeze. Also, boil your beet until fork tender and refrigerate.
  2. Place frozen bananas and cooked beet in a blender, and blend until smooth. Add milk (can use dairy free) as needed to make the texture similar to soft serve ice cream.
  3. Do a taste test, and add honey if you would like to sweeten it even more.
  4. Stir in chocolate chunks and any other desired toppings. Enjoy!
