Food Access Manager // Interim Farmers’ Market Manager

Do you believe fresh, nutritious, locally grown and produced food should be both geographically and financially accessible to all people – regardless of socioeconomics and geography?

We’re looking for an individual with a passion for local food and a passion for making it accessible to everyone. This individual will act as interim farmers’ market manager while our current farmers’ market manager is on maternity leave. Upon the return of our farmers’ market manager, the individual will transition into the long term role of food access manager.

This paid, part-time internship leads participants through a learning curriculum to develop new skills from a variety of farm management systems. Interns will also participate in workshops throughout the summer, supported by Countryside, as part of the education curriculum.

The goal of this internship program is to create a hands-on learning environment, paired with classroom style workshops, to inspire and educate those who are passionate about pursuing a career in agriculture.
