Event Details

Join us for the last Countryside farmers’ market of the 2022 season at Howe Meadow! This special event celebrates the end of a bountiful market season along with the season’s spookiest holiday. Don’t miss the last outdoor market of the season or the festive fun in the meadow before we move indoors for the winter farmers’ market at Old Trail school. 


Special Market Activities:

  • Kids trick-or-treat with the market vendors
  • Humane Society of Summit County mobile adoption unit (outside the market entrance)
  • Storytime and kids craft by local author Mary E. Ciesa at 10am 
  • Cider for purchase
  • Costume contest (see details below)
  • Live music from local musician Jim Lesher

Tickets are not required. This is a free event, but donations are appreciated!


Costume Contest Entry Information

Register for the costume contest at the Market Information Tent by 10:40am for judging. The contest will begin at 10:45am. 

One award will be given in each category:

  1. Adult Best Costume
  2. Youth Best Costume
  3. Pet Best Costume* 

Winners in the adult and youth category will receive a $25 market gift certificate. The pet category winner will receive a special treat and a $20 gift certificate.  

* Pets will be allowed at this market only starting at 10:30am. Please only bring pets to the market that are leashed and well-behaved.
