What better way to eat local than to eat Ohio’s native fruit! Plus, this “snack size” smoothie is so good for you.

Makes 1 – 4 oz. smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pawpaw

  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

  • 1/4 inch piece Ginger

  • 1/2 cup Spinach or greens of choice

  • 1/4 cup Milk or water

  • 8 – 10 Ice Cubes

Method:

  1. Cut pawpaw in half the long way and open. Scoop out flesh and remove seeds. Place the fruit without the seeds or skin in the blender.
  2. Add all other ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
